Torchwood: Children of Earth, Monday

Oooh. That was good. Really good. I've had no spoilers so there were some excellent surprises in there. Intriguing plot threads, some great supporting characters, I love Rhys so hope there's more of him to come, love Jack and Ianto, it's all very grounded as TW always is while being completely sci fi. Worth waiting for. Hope it carries on at this level through the week.

For me it's been the first really relaxing evening in a while. I had an early bath then slouched around in my bathrobe for ages, making dinner, checking fic, then to bed to watch telly. It might not sound a lot but I feel less stressed than I have in weeks.

Oh so glad you liked it. I've heard it's going to get quite dark. Although the cliffhanger was pretty dark!

It's already pretty dark, but this is Torchwood so it's nowhere near as dark as they've gone previously. Yet.

There's no way I can follow it night by night this week so I may need to find a friend who can pimp the whole thing to me at some point. *wonders who I might know that would possibly be willing to pimp something that JB is starring in :-P *

I can definitely put it on a couple of DVDs for you, but I won't have the facility for a couple of weeks yet - when I get my house back and can find things again! This looks like good drama with none of the stuff that annoyed you about the early episodes. Except Gwen, obviously. Sorry about that.
