Awww

I just watched a Christmas movie (yes, in August) that was almost enough to put me in a diabetic coma. But it was lovely, like they're supposed to be, and I'm sure it'll come out again at some point. It had Jared Padalecki and Peter O'Toole (no, not a combination I'd ever imagined) and they were both excellent.

What was a surprise was that RIchard Burgi was in it. That man gets bloody everywhere. Does he never sleep?

The Thomas Kinkade one that was pushed back like a whole year for release? Wow, I had no idea Burgi was in it, either. Well-kept secret, I guess.. :-)

It was the Thomas Kinkade one, though I have no idea about the making or release of it. I found it when Amazon came up with it in my recs because I'd ordered SPN S5 *g*

I think it was a popular topic at SPN cons at Q&As with Padalecki, I think I watched more than one video of Padalecki answering questions about that movie that kept being delayed, hehe. ;-) Is it worth watching? (If you have like zero tolerance for feel-good movies)?

I liked it. It was kind of feel-good, great relationship between JP and POT's characters, somewhat funny (props to RB for that, particularly), very American schmultz, but sweet. If you've seen MS's Christmas movie, it was much better than that in both acting and writing. I'd recommend it generally, but if you really don't like feel-good, then perhaps not. I think there's a trailer on Amazon (there must be one on YouTube) and the simple answer is if that puts you off then you won't like it!

I'm just watching season 2 of Desperate Housewives and Richard Burgi is in that too! It's true, he's everywhere!
