For those who have better things to do with their time, 'Nancy' in this case is the latest hunt-for-a-west-end-star show on Saturday evenings. John Barrowman is one of the judges and Andrew Lloyd Webber is the overall 'she stays, she goes' judge. Yesterday's results show had ALW going quite bonkers, saying he was really angry, and having axed one of the bottom two (the one who definitely was the worst and has been one of the worst for weeks) he stormed off the set. Obviously whatever he was seeing wasn't getting through to the general public. If the public heard what I was hearing then they just weren't impressed by the number of notes missed, and the acting skills were fairly non-existant (at least, in the live shows - no idea what was going on behind-the-scenes).

Reports today are saying ALW was really angry and telling everyone how angry he was in the bar after the show. Very peculiar. I just don't see it, I truly don't. If one of the good Nancys had gone then maybe I'd see what his problem was.

You aren't the only one who thinks he was acting very weird. A look back at his blog from previous weeks indicates that he was surprised when Keisha kept ending up in the bottom two, and said if that was what the public thought of her, he could only save her so many times. But that's showbiz. No idea why he decided to throw a wobbly.

JB stalked off set when Daniel was axed from ADWD, but he was canny enough to wait until the cameras stopped rolling before he did it, and he carried it off way better than ALW, even off camera.

What was particularly weird was that he said "I'm very angry" in a not very angry way. I liked Keisha and was sorry to see her go (her "As Long As He Needs Me" exit was fabulous), but the person who should be out, wasn't in the bottom two. I totally agree with His Lordship about Ashley. In JB's words (to Daniel in ADWD) she's "beige".

Totally off topic:

Have you received my mail regarding Saturday? Sent it to you and lex, and also to ahnkh, arahne and scribe. Scribe says she can't meet, but I'm not sure if any of you can...

I think Keisha and Niamh are miles and miles better than most of the others. I was really surprised to see Niamh there. She's amazing.

Not sure I agree about Niamh. She has a good voice, but her diction is very poor and she can't really act. She needs a lot more training and experience before I think she could hold a stage for 8 performances a week.
