This is completely not normal for me. I need sleep after the long week - not this! 4:30 am and the birds have been singing for about half an hour already. *sigh*
Hmmm. Is there maybe something out of the ordinary hovering around in the wee back recesses of your mind, that might be prodding your subconscious just enough to keep you from sleeping?
Maybe hop into a nice hot bath, with sdome soft, relaxing music playing in the background? Only, don't fall asleep in the water!
There's all kinds of crap lurking in the dark and dusty corners of my mind, but who knows if that's what kept me up last night. I'm completely knackered tonight so that should see me better.
Must be something in the air - I didn't sleep well last night either. 3.15 when I last looked at my watch. At least it's Saturday - although it's annoying if you had a lot planned.
If I have a bad night it's usually because my brain was too active immediately before going to bed. So my advice is to take a nap this afternoon, and veg out this evening with light reading or mindless tv, and nothing with too much caffeine - which includes chocolate!
I was out all day for a birthday thing, so no chance of the relaxation and early night. Lots to do tomorrow too if I want to keep up with my planned schedule of garden and decorating. Still, will have a lie-in.
