Following up on my post the other day about the article in Marie Claire where a writer expressed her disgust at having to watch fat people exist in the world, here's something lovely.

So, I'm a wuss, but this whole reaction to that noxious writer and her noxious editor has been entirely refreshing and just plain nice. *sniffle*

That is very cool. I can't believe Marie Claire and Kelly are positioning the original offensive post as 'starting a conversation'.

Is it usual to start a conversation by saying something offensive? I normally talk about the weather to get a chat going... I hope the protest was a success.
