I've just watched a programme about the 50 greatest Harry Potter moments. Some of them were good, though not sure they'd count as great. But the most bizarre thing about it was that they claimed Dobby the house elf was one of the most loved characters of the whole franchise. The various people who were talking did manage to keep straight faces, but I'm fairly sure they were joking. Dobby is only beaten by that peculiar creature from the Star Wars prequels as the most annoying character ever created in fiction.

That clip is on the DVD (and BluRay) extended editions as an easter egg, and has me in stitches every time.

I was cleaning my room the other day and came across a large Jarjar Binks piggy bank. I'd gotten it as a b-day present from my Washington state friends back in July 1999. Never had the nerve to throw it away because of its sentimental value. It ended up in the backgarden during the clean-up, and now it'll probably stay there because I don't have the heart to throw it away... I'm gonna see those friends again in September in WA!
