Time for a bath and then to watch something in while lying in bed. I have lots of choice, but can't decide. I'm leaning towards some NCIS S2/3, but maybe Flashpoint or B5.

Saw Inkheart yesterday, which had arrived in the morning post and was a lovely film. Not what I expected (there seems to be a theme going on there with me and films). Also arrived yesterday was Frost / Nixon, which I haven't watched yet. Maybe next weekend. It feels like a film I should be watching during a cold, stormy winter evening, sitting on the sofa in my PJs with a big mug of tea in hand. No, I have no idea why. I also ordered the first 3 seasons of ER the other day. What can I say? They were on sale. Actually, seasons 1 to 10 were on sale, but that's just silly. I did love ER back in the day, so I'll kick off with the first 3 years and see if I want more later on.

In other telly, new House (S5) is coming up this week. I wasn't particularly interested in S4 because of the changing of practically all of the cast. I'll see if S5 is any good, but it's on a downward slope for me. I hate to lose my Hugh Laurie, though. *ponders*

I watched Frost/Nixon on the plane on the way home. The PJs and cup of tea would work, but imo the cold stormy is probably optional. Dark overcast is likely good enough.

Two other things I watched on the plane(s) were "Milk" and something called "Doubt". Both were very good. Milk made me wince from time to time, but the entire subject matter is so acutely painful that it is only right the film hurts in spots. And the ending of Doubt had me in tears. Both Milk and Doubt have a sort of immediacy to them, and felt/feel very 'important' (to me).

Good stuff.

I liked season 5 of House. It's just as good as ever, no matter the other characters, although they're pretty good, too. Laurie carries the show, though, IMHO. ;-) The final three or four episodes are just NUTS. I cannot wait for season 6!

Yeah, I was very disheartened with House last season and haven't downloaded any of this, so I set a series link before I went to work and will give it a go and see what I think. I'm past sticking with shows for the sake of it, when they don't do it I stop watching. Heroes went by the by and Dexter did too, although I'm tempted to watch the HD version of Dexter that's on catch up.

I'm pretty sure that Hugh Laurie is going to be on Jonathon Ross this Friday coming.
