They're among us
Aug. 18th, 2009 05:29 pmI was a bit stunned last night to see a news report on the BBC about UFOs. Now, this isn't completely unheard of: every so often the government releases a load of reports about UFO sightings and how they've been explained / not explained, and people (meaning journalists) trawl through them looking for a story. Last night in addition to the usual interviews with people explaining that UFO doesn't mean alien, it just means unexplained, there was an interview with a bloke who explained how there are undersea and underground alien bases on Earth, that various governments know all about it, and that they're keeping it all quiet because... well, I missed why. The news readers who were interviewing this bloke asked serious questions and were apparently really intrigued. Oddly enough, they didn't ask the obvious question: if the government can't keep our personal details secret, can't avoid leaving top secret information on trains and in taxis, and are more interested in scamming the expenses system than doing their jobs, how could they possibly keep a secret this big?
So, they're among us. Not sure if 'they' are the eight foot tall lizards (as reported by David Icke) or the Roswell greys or something out of the X-Files or Klingons or Vulcans. Sadly there wasn't time during the interview for any details. Or evidence.
